On June 18, 1928 in Wharton, Texas, a delightful, beautiful bundle of joy was born to Dave Henry Jenkins and Edith Williams Jenkins. They named their gift Earl Neail Jenkins. Earl was reared and attended school in Wharton, TX. He moved to the Galveston County Area as an adult. He worked at Mainland Hospital and Gene Hamon Ford. He met and married Lovie Adams. The Lord blessed this union with a daughter, Earlene Faye Jenkins Randle.
Earl was exciting and fun to be around. He was a nurturer and enjoyed helping and caring for others. Earl accepted Jesus the Christ as his Lord and Savior and he now rests with Him. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Earlene Faye Randle and son, Eugene Ervin. His siblings are Annie Mae Jenkins-Timmons, Viola Jenkins-Hicks, Freddie Jenkins, George Jenkins, Hezekiah Barfield and W. J. Jenkins.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Walter Faye Wormley, Jeweline Johnson, Meril Lemons-Pittman, Wilma Faye Jenkins, C. J. Ervin and Ray Charles Ervin; devoted grandchild, Joeishia Elizabeth (Curtis) Richardson; a host of grand children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
