Marshall Darnell Joshua a.k.a. “Josh”, the son of Marshall and Lela Joshua, was born on May 2, 1952 in Galveston, TX. “Josh” attended schools in Galveston Independent School District and graduated from Ball High School with the Class of 1970. He later enrolled at Independent Electrical Contractors (I.E.C.) where he completed his apprenticeship and went on to further graduate as a journeyman electrician.
“Josh” is preceded in death by both his parents. “Josh” is survived by his two children, Timothy Barta of Amarillo, TX and his pride and joy, Morgan Raeney Joshua of Alvin, TX; his two loving sisters, Linda Joshua of Galveston, TX and Janet Davis of Texas City, TX; his niece, La Shonda Woodbridge (Roger) of La Marque, TX; his two nephews, Joshua Davis of Houston, TX and Jordan Davis of Louisville, KY; his two great-nieces, Cierra Guillory and Gianna McCoullough of La Marque, TX; his loving aunts, Corine Joshua of Galveston, TX and Lee Ethel Kyle of Chicago, IL; his very devoted friend, Terri Alliniece-Miller and a host of other relatives and friends.
A public visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at noon followed by a service to celebrate his life. Both events will take place at Saint John Baptist Church, 2917 Sealy St. • Galveston, TX 77550.
