Cynthia Johnson-Comeaux was born September 24, 1958 in Galveston, TX to Jeweline and J.P. Johnson. She and her family lived in Galveston, TX where she attend the Public Schools graduating from Ball High School. Later in life she moved to Texas City, TX and raised her family there along with her mother. She and her remained together as neighbors or roommates until her death. Cynthia was married to Barry Comeaux and they enjoyed her later years. She was a Facebook Fanatic; a TV Court Judge and Jury; a Home Healthcare Provider and most of all, Cynthia loved her family unconditionally.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Ray Charles Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Barry Comeaux; her children, Rotina Johnson and Brandie “Nicole” Johnson; her mother, Jeweline Johnson; grandchildren, Ashley Butler Johnson, Calvin Hardy, Nevaeh Scott and Szyron Scott; great- grandchildren, Jordan and Braylen; other special family members, Maurice (LaTonya) Nunn, Alicia Johnson (Brandi Baker); Ray Johnson, Jr., Samone Mc Crea and Jernee Johnson; faithful first cousin, Dr. Jennifer Gilbert; a dear friend, Geraldine Sayers and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a service to celebrate her life at 1:00 pm. Both events will take place at the chapel at Bay Area Funeral Directors located at 5410 FM 1765 (facing Highway 3) in Texas City. 409-933-4300. All memorials may be sent to the funeral home.
