Clem D. Carter III

On Friday, April 5, 2019, Clem D. Carter III transitioned from his earthly life into life everlasting with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Clem was born February 1, 1967 in Galveston, Texas to the late Clem D. Carter, Jr. and Ruby Lee Julius Carter.

Clem is preceded in death by his parents and leaves to cherish his memories:  his fiancé, Sherrie Tyler of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Melonece Carter (Herman) of Dickinson, Texas; Demetria and Orzime Carter of Texas City, Texas and Jerrick Carter (Tamara) of Houston; aunts, Dolores Renee Nichols (Robert), Brenda Sneed (Wayne), Yvonne Ashton (Joe) and Kathy August (Bruce) and Latoina August; uncle, Richard Sincere and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Clem was a faithful servant at Neighborhood Missionary Baptist Church where he served as the President of the Usher Board and as a member of the Brotherhood and the Men’s Choir.

Clem graduated from Ball High School in 1985.  While at Ball High, Clem served in the Junior Police Academy of Galveston and the Junior Reserves Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC).  Clem later served in the United States Army.  Clem also attended Lone Star College in North Houston.  Clem loved to cook and travel and was lovable among all who knew him.

Services for Clem will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Neighborhood Missionary Baptist Church located at 1800 Oleander in La Marque, Texas 77568.  A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 11:00 a.m.  Professional services are entrusted to the staff at Bay Area Funeral Directors.  409-933-4300.
