Tracy Allen Hanes went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Clear Lake. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Tracy Allen Hanes was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Sandra Kay and Charles Russell Hanes on July 31, 1961. He attended Merced College where he studied photography. He served in the United States Navy as a Photographer’s Mate First Class and Recruit Division Commander in Great Lakes, IL. He retired in 1998.
It was along his travels in the Navy where he met his true love. He was married to Rosalinda (Linda) Grueso Hanes in 1988 and was blessed to share 31 beautiful years together. Shortly to follow were his children, Trevor Glen and Tiffany Lyn Hanes.
He was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling with his family, going to the movies, and visiting with his “grand-dogs”.
He will be remembered for his strong spirit and a man with a golden heart. A true trend setter in inspirational speaking as well as the patriarch of the Hanes family. Most of all, he will be remembered as an incredible husband, a tremendous father, and an altruistic friend.
Tracy leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Linda; son Trevor and daughter Tiffany.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be determined, in contingent upon state social gathering laws and travel restrictions current to the government’s information.
The Hanes family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the service fund listed:
