Lisa Ambroise was born August 21, 1962 in Galveston, TX to the union of Edward Sr and Olyampia Ambroise. She was the 4th of Six children and the youngest girl. After a long and courageous battle with illness, she departed this earthly journey and transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020.
Lisa was baptized at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, at an early age. She made her First Communion and Confirmation at Holy Rosary. She was a faithful Usher, until her health failed.
She was a 1980 graduate of Ball High School where she loved playing volleyball. She later attended Prairie View A & M University, where she received a BS degree in Computer Science. She returned home after college graduation and worked in the retail industry for a few years. Later she pursued a career in education and worked within the Galveston Independent School District at Central Middle School for 24 years until her health failed. She was “Bearcat” proud!
Her most favorite thing to do was raise, encourage & support her only child, RaeAuna Ambroise whom was her pride and joy! When RaeAuna attended & graduated from her Alma Mater, that was an absolute highlight of her life.
