Douglas Coleman White, 53, of League City, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 2, 2021.
Douglas was born on October 8, 1967 to James and Roberta White in Little Rock, Arkansas. Doug was predeceased by his father, James White. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tina White; son, Rodney White; mother, Roberta White; sisters, Rhonda Linder and Lanell Keith and grandchildren, Emma White and Harper Savage.
Doug was a force to be reckoned with and anyone who knew him knows this to be true. He was a man that could crack a joke at any moment and if it didn’t make you laugh, him laughing at himself would. Doug was rough around the edges but he loved deeply and was so very proud of his family and what he had provided. He was an avid collector of many things and he loved to travel. He enjoyed telling stories about all of his adventures working all over the world and stories of his son. Rodney was one of his greatest achievements and then came the grandchildren. The happiness in his eyes watching his grandgirls grow was like no other happiness.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:26
There will be a memorial service held at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ located at 1401 Cavalry Road in North Little Rock, AR 72116 at a date to be determined.
The family requests that those who wish express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Doug’s name.
