JB Stubblefield was born September 25, 1957 to JB Stubblefield Sr. and Lou Ella Antoine Stubblefield. JB lived his entire life in Houston. Where he met and married his wife Patricia Stubblefield who he loved dearly. He loved her children like no other. Lakeisha Ammiel (husband Andrea), Walter King Jr (wife Lisa), Yvette Lewis (husband Terry), Elester Coleman (wife Debra.) JB had lots of love for all 17 of his grandchildren, who he enjoyed throughout the years.
Not only did he love them, he loved his family very very much as well. He looked up to his brother Vincent, the love for him was undeniable. They would have many conversations and loved spending time with each other. He also loved his sister, Dimples, and Roslyn who is now (Deceased.) The love for his nieces La’Vinsha, Alesha, and J’anae, nephew (Sam.) He had a host of cousins, other family and friends he loved as well.
JB loved to laugh and dance and have lots of fun. He would always smile no matter what was going on. He attended Kashmere High School and went on to Texas Southern University. JB accepted Christ at an early age and had been a member of Bella Vista Missionary Baptist Church. He attended bible prayer meetings and loved reading the bible and praying. He worked for McCoy’s for 21 years before retiring. On Monday, June 14, 2021 JB went home to be with the Lord. We love him and will miss him very much.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Berea Missionary Baptist Church, 11507 Homestead Rd., Houston, TX 77016. JB’s Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Vonetta Horton officiating. Interment at Golden Gate Cemetery, Houston, TX.
