Johnathan Pruett Sr. Obituary (1971 - 2022)

John Pruett Sr was born in La Mesa, California to the late Bernard Pruett and Karen Reichardt on January 22nd 1971. John departed this life far too soon on May 6th 2022. He lived on the Pruett families chicken ranch his grandfather ran until he was 19. He then left California and came to Texas. Where a few years later in June of 1994 he met his loving and devoted wife Sheila Groves Pruett. He was united in matrimony to Sheila Groves on March 1st 1997 and they welcomed a baby boy on September 12th 1997, their only child. He always shared his generosity not only with family and friends but with everyone he met, to know him was to love him. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone he could in need. He was employed many places over the years, but was a successful business owner since March 2017. He and Sheila moved cars all over the state of Texas and on occasion John flew out of state to drive cars back to Texas. John Pruett leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted wife of 25 years married, 28 together. His son Johnathan Groves his Mom Karen Pruett, two sisters Pam Bowers and Sandy Frazier, his Mother and Father in laws Dennis and Reda Groves and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was proceeded in death by his Dad Barney Pruett as well as many Aunts, Uncles as well as both sets of grandparents. Everyone here is lucky to have known him. I know he is with us today and smiling at all the beautiful memories we've all shared. He will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. May our handsome angel rest in peace. A memorial will take place on Saturday June 11th at 2 p.m. at 1717 Castle Dr. Garland, TX 75040 the service will be officiated by Pastor Glynn Davis. please join us to celebrate his life if you can.
