Larry Wayne Benefield Obituary (1953

The journey of life began for Larry Wayne Benefield on March 3, 1953 in Galveston, Texas to the late Margaret Benefield. Larry graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. He accepted Christ at an early age. After high school Larry enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed playing basketball at Carver Park, fishing, listening to an array of music and spending time with his family. Larry departed this life on July 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Benefield and grandparents, Beatrice and Lester Lee. Larry leaves cherished memories in the hearts of his son, Larry Bogan and granddaughter, LaTavia Bogan. He is also is survived by his of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will love and miss him dearly. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11am at Bay Area Funeral Directors located at 5410 FM 1765 facing hwy 3, Texas City, Texas 77591.
