Ray Fletcher Obituary (1964 - 2019)

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and delighted in his way." On December 20, 1963 a handsome son was born to Cleveland Marshall & Dorothy Scott in Shreveport, Louisiana. They named their blessing from God, Ray Anthony Fletcher. Ray was fondly known by family & friends by keeping us entertained with his keen sense of humor, dancing and laughter. He started his education in California and completed it in TCISD and college of the Mainland. Ray Anthony Fletcher went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland Marshall and Dorothy Scott; brother, Cleveland Fletcher, sister, Ollie Mary Bridges, great nephew, Kadren Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 son Ray Lafear (Las Vegas) & 1 daughter Renita Linear (Washington) & 8 grandchildren, sisters, Doris George (Kellis), Alice Fletcher (Texas City). Brother, Herbert Lawson Jr. (Texas City) & a host of nieces and nephews.
