Curtis E. Mark Sr.(49) went to rest in sleep on Monday September 11, 2023. Curtis was born August 24,1974 in Galveston, TX to William Malone and Ruby Overshine. He received his GED at Windham School District. Curtis married his best friend Shana Mark in December 2013. He was employed as a local truck driver for almost 30 years. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents Curtis & Beulah Mark, Son Curtis Mark Jr., Father William Malone, Step-Father Edward Tillman Sr. and, Sister Erica Chachere and Grandparents Webb and Mary lee Overshine, and Grandparents William Malone Sr. and Erma L. Rowley. Curtis was having family Bible studies with his wife Shana learning about Jehovah's Biblical truths. He enjoyed working and spending time with family. Curtis will always be remembered for being a hard worker, encouraging and motivating co-workers, and most of all a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, and friend. Survived by his Wife Shana Mark, Mother Ruby Tillman, Children Raven, Brittany, Abrina(Daryl), Charmaine, Sons Trey and Christopher, Sister Markisha Chachere, Brother Edward Tillman Jr., Two Sister-in-laws Maegen(Raillan), Nikki(Quentin), Nephews DeMarcus, De'Eric, and Nikolaus, Niece Saralene, 2 Great Nieces, and 3 Great Nephews, and A Host of family and friends. The Memorial services will be held on September 30, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Bay Area Funeral Home, 5410 FM 1765 State Hwy 3, Texas City, TX 77591.
