Jermaine Rochard Butler

Jermaine was born on April 24, 1979 to Paul, Sr. and Florence Butler. Jermaine was the third of four sons (Paul, Jr., Jolealron and Keenan Butler, Sr.). All were precious gifts received from God. Jermaine received all of his youth spiritual training and was baptized at Straight Way Church.
Jermaine passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Jermaine was educated in the La Marque Independent School District and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Jermaine also studied at College of the Mainland in Texas City during the summers.
Jermaine is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Albertha Bell, Joe Jackson, John and Odessa Butler and his uncle John.
Jermaine is survived by: his wife, Shereba Butler; his children, Jay'Shard Butler, A'Drianna Modero, Ili' Yana Jones and Ronald Sterling; his parents; his siblings and his companion, Andrea Silvas.
Funeral services for Jermaine Rochard Butler will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Straight Way Church, 21 N Hwy 3, Texas City, TX. A public viewing will open at 10:00 am followed by the Celebration of Life service to begin at 11:00 am.
