Katie Yvonne Perkins Clay Obituary (1961 - 2016)

Katie Yvonne Perkins Clay (Teena) passed away August 23, 2016 at UTMB with her family by her side. She was born on July 20, 1961 to Joyce Perkins Hudson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jessie and Bowman Perkins and cousin, Phillip "Big Phil" Palmer. Teena attended school in the La Marque Independent School District. Left to cherish her memories are: husband, Donnie Clay, Sr.; sons, Jirhmal Clay and Donnie Clay, Jr.; and mother, Joyce Hudson. She also leaves her siblings, Frank Hudson (Rona) and Tammy Hudson, 12 grandchildren; aunts, Jewel Newton (Earl) and Margarett Searles; uncle, Ted Perkins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. followed by A Celebration of Her Life at Noon. Both services will be held at Bay Area Funeral Directors, 5410 FM 1765 Texas City, TX 77591. Memorials may be sent to the Funeral Home.
