Tyrone “Duck” Denton Obituary (1966 - 2016)

Tyrone Bernard Denton, Sr., 49, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence. Tyrone was born October 21, 1966, in Galveston, TX to the late George Earl Denton, Sr. and Ina Mae Denton. Tyrone was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where he served in multiple ministries: Mass Choir, Men of Distinction, Man Power, SWAT, and assisted in numerous capacities as it related to rendering services to God's kingdom. Tyrone was preceded in death by his father, George Denton, Sr., sisters, Linda Stevenson and Sharon Jack and brothers, George, Jr., and Larry Denton. Tyrone will forever live in the hearts of his wife, friend and life long partner, Kimberly Ray-Denton, his mother, Ina Mae, stepfather, Jimmie Saldana, his children, Tyrone, Jr., Taylor, Tristan, Tyra, Joshua, Malcolm and Raphael, grandchildren, Diamond, Tyrone, III, Tristan, Kyndal, and Taylor, Jr., brother, Timothy Denton (Brandie), sister, Tamela Saldana, godchildren Marquis Denton, Jordan Simmons-Collins, Kennadi Scurry, mother-in-law Gracie Layton, father-in-law Austin Ray III, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church followed by a Service Celebrating His Life along with his brother, George E.
